Our largest fundraising event of the year, executed by All About Events, is Party for the Market, a ticketed gala that hosts 1,500 people. During my internship, I played a significant role in the silent auction component, starting with outreach for donations, securing items such as tickets to the Philadelphia Art Museum, two tickets to the Philadelphia Orchestra, and a $100 Wegmans gift card. I then organized every donation in Google Sheets, assigning numbers and categories before inputting them into our silent auction software, GiveSmart, along with donor information, photographs, and descriptions. I managed the process through to completion, setting up the silent auction at the event and working throughout the night to answer questions, monitor the software, and track rising bids. 2024's silent auction raised $6,000 more than in 2023, with a 4% increase in registered users and 30 additional auction items.  Through this experience, I gained proficiency in GiveSmart, improved my skills in Google Sheets, and stepped out of my comfort zone by communicating with outside companies during the outreach phase, which strengthened my ability to conduct myself professionally. My dedication to this project contributed to exceeding last year’s fundraising total and increasing auction participation
